PARKROSE HEIGHTS MID CENTURY KITCHEN RENOVATION

What started out as a dark, tired, and well-loved kitchen from the ‘60s is now a light, vibrant, and re-energized space that still has a retro feel. 

This mid-century modern ranch home is located in the Parkrose Heights neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. Our clients were looking to update their kitchen and dining room by retaining the original footprint, but improving the storage, finishes, amenities, lighting, and furnishings. We opted for a refreshing color palette of icy blues and cool-toned reds that would showcase our client’s personality and taste, as well as stand out from the typical greys and greens of the Pacific Northwest.

A must-have for our clients was plenty of space for entertaining friends. A larger island, more efficient use of dining space, and well thought-out storage creates the perfect kitchen for our clients to gather with loved ones.
