MCMINNVILLE PROJECT
This McMinnville home, built in 1897 and renovated in 2025, was still lacking in storage and wasn’t functioning properly for our clients. In order to make the home better suited to their lifestyle and extensive wardrobe, we added new custom cabinetry throughout. Our goal with the additions was to make them feel original to the home, but with modern updates and storage compartments tailored to our clients’ specific needs.
In order to accommodate the client’s accessory collection, the primary bedroom wardrobe features slanted shelves for shoes, dividers for bags and purses, and a variety of jewelry storage. The dining cabinets are sectioned according to the exact dimensions of their various platters and wine rack.
To keep all the cabinetry cohesive, while allowing each space to feel unique, we opted for a mix of painted and stained, but repeated elements such as door style and millwork details. Some spaces received a dark walnut stain to feel more classic, while the mudroom cabinets were painted a bold ochre color to feel more playful and tie into the clients’ warm, sunset-inspired color palette.
We approach all of our projects with the idea that a good design should make your life easier. Working closely with our clients ensures that we’re able to make sure each space functions for its intended purpose, while allowing their personality to shine through.
